Uses:

  • Cinnamon Essential Oil is extracted through steam distillation from the leaves and twigs of the Cinnamomum zeylanicum tree, also known as Ceylon cinnamon or true cinnamon.
  • There are two types of essential oils extracted: one from the leaves, which is gentler and commonly used in aromatherapy, and the other from the bark, which is stronger and less commonly preferred in aromatherapy.
  • Exhibits powerful antiseptic properties and is known for its calming effects. When used in an oil burner, it is reputed to help alleviate colds, bronchitis, and depression.
  • Useful for assisting with bronchitis, diarrhea, chills, infections, flu, rheumatism, and arthritis when added to bath water or blended into massage oils.
  • Eases nausea, vomiting, and menstrual pain by stimulating the glandular system. However, the leaf oil should be avoided during pregnancy, and the bark oil should only be used diluted under expert supervision.
