Trim the cotton wick to approximately 5mm before your first burn. Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the jar on this first use, approximately 2 to 3 hours. This sets the wax memory and ensures even, consistent burning throughout the life of the candle.
Trim the wick to 5mm before each use. Burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, curtains, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep the wick trimmed to 5mm for a clean, steady flame. If the wick mushrooms at the tip between burns, extinguish fully, allow to cool, and trim away any excess before relighting. Stop burning when approximately 1cm of wax remains.
